The people that I get the opportunity to spend time with through photography will always be the sweetest part of my job! Caroline emailed me a few months ago and mentioned that her and her husband, Richie, were going to be celebrating at the Twelve Oaks Bed and Breakfast near Atlanta. Friends, if you’ve never been to this precious place you have to put it on your bucket list. It’s exterior was Maraget Mitchell’s inspiration for the beloved Tara Plantation in Gone with the Wind. I’m not sure about y’all, but I grew up on Gone with the Wind. It was one of my favorite movies as a kid and I secretly dreamed of being Scarlett, sure she was a little mean, a little crazy, but man those hoop skirts were where it was at!
Caroline and Richie have the sweetest relationship and as we walked around the property I couldn’t get over how thankful I am to work with people with hearts like theirs. I’m wishing you two a lifetime of happiness! Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together!
