Ware and Caroline both grew up visiting St. Simons Island with their families. The gorgeous oak trees and spanish moss hold a special place in their hearts and it’s easy to see why they made the trip back for their wedding. The Lodge at Sea Island hosted the ladies and gentlemen as they got ready for the big day ahead. The lodge is gorgeous and just a few steps outside of the doors are the Avenue of the Oaks. If you’ve ever visited the area I’m sure you’re familiar with it! Oak trees stretching for what seems like miles. It’s absolutely beautiful!
With the azaleas in full bloom we headed to the church for the ceremony after portraits. Caroline and Ware have such a sweet love and it’s hard not to smile when you see them together. Caroline gave Ware his father’s wedding band, it was an unexpected surprise and one that had everyone, including me, in tears! It was such a sweet gesture and I can’t help but think how special it is to have that ring on his finger.
We danced the night away on Sea Island thanks to the incredible music by Bobby and the Aristocrats. Caroline and Ware, thank you so much inviting Daniel and I to be a part of such a precious time in your lives!
