As we drove down the Oak lined road we knew it was going to be a good day. We made the trip to Amelia Island the day before and while it’s a long drive, it’s totally worth it! The Ribault Club is a gorgeous southern venue tucked away in the marsh, you’d never know it was there unless you were looking for it. It embodied Betsy and Jakes style perfectly, elegant and timeless.
As Betsy arrived everyone was buzzing around, the band was setting up their equipment, the florist was putting things out and right then and there it became real. She was getting married in less than two hours! I photographed the girls while Ashley was with the boys and then at 5:00 pm we all came together at the small chapel just up the road. They had a beautiful ceremony with their closest family and friends and then they were off to the Ribault!
Betsy and Jake did something that I’d never seen before and I absolutely loved it! Since the chapel was so small it could only accommodate a fraction of their guests. To share the special moment with all of their friends and family they had a Blessing as they arrived to the reception. A Gospel Chorus was there and it was such an amazing experience! Betsy and Jake thank you so much for including us in your big day, it was such a blessing to be a part of it all!
A huge thanks to Ashley Stephen for documenting the Groomsmen so well!
