Last year I kept praying for someone. I knew that I couldn’t keep running this little business all by myself, so I kept asking for help every time I’d reflect about growth. I wasn’t sure where to begin and finding the right person was my priority. I didn’t want just anyone, I wanted someone that had a heart for serving other and who was excited to learn. A few months later I got an email from Laurie asking if I would consider taking her on as an intern and her timing couldn’t have been better. I was already familiar with her, she introduced herself to me at a wedding with a huge smile and a big hug. So when I saw her email pop up in my inbox I did a little happy dance.
She’s been working with me in the office one day a week since November and we’ve already done several weddings together. She’s so talented and driven and I can’t say enough how thankful I am for her! I’m looking forward to having her with me as a second shooter for all of my weddings this year and watching her own business grow! So without further ado, meet Laurie!
