Paris was a whirlwind during our Europe trip! This beautiful city has so much history to offer and exploring it was such an adventure. We took a train veryyy early in the morning and as soon as we arrived we started a walking tour of the city. We ran up the stairs to Montmartre, explored the local artists shops, ate more gelato than I would like to admit and ended the day with a boat ride on the Sienne and crepes at the Eiffel tower. We did ten plus miles of walking that day, next time I’ll be sure to bring tennis shoes.
The next morning our tour guide met us at the hotel and look us around the city to see all of the major areas of town. Karin was a lovely lady full of so much information, she made everything fun and I’m so glad that we had great tour guides throughout the entire trip. After our guided tour we went to the Palace of Versailles. If you haven’t been I encourage you to check it out if you’re ever in the area, it’s a site to see. The opulence is unlike anything I’ve seen before, gold on gold on gold. That night we mixed things up at dinner and made everyone sit with people that they didn’t know. For 19 high school girls and 4 adults it turned out to be one of the more entertaining nights at dinner. These girls were such a fun group and I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to spend time with them!
We were off to the Louvre the following morning and then more crepes! We roamed the city for the rest of the day and that night be boarded a night train for Florence! Italy was by far my favorite destination and I can’t wait to share more of it on the blog next week! To see London click HERE!
These are gorgeous!! Love!!
