Mary Beth called me as I was walking into the airport and I just knew what it was about! This sweet girl was getting married! When I was in college I photographed Briggs little sister (she is an incredible actress and wise beyond her years) and I’ve loved keeping up with their family ever since! You know when you meet someone and you automatically feel like you’re part of the family? That’s how both of their families will make you feel!
When I knocked on their parents door I realized that both of their mom’s were there! It’s not often that a couples mom’s have been friends since college and I loved hearing their stories! Briggs proposed to Mary Beth in front of all of their friends and I just think that is so special. To have such a strong support system is such a blessing!
Mary Beth mentioned that they had a puppy and you know I was excited when I heard that! Little Gus is so precious! When we first started their session I couldn’t help but get distracted by the little guy, he’s just so cute! We roamed around the property that Mary Beth grew up on and there were SO many good spots! As we walked through the field together Briggs told me that he asked Mary Beth’s Dad for permission to marry his daughter right out there. What a sweet memory, I’m so happy that they choose that location for their engagement session. Mary Beth and Briggs thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to hangout with me! I LOVED spending time with you and I can’t wait for your wedding!!!
