Last year one of my sweet friends mentioned that she wanted to take a group of her students to Europe. When I was in high school I went with the same tour group and loved the experience so when she mentioned that she might need an extra chaperone I was all in! Going to Europe with twenty-two other ladies can be a bit intimidating, I’m not going to lie I was a little nervous. I only knew Rachel and lets be honest, I spend a lot of time alone. Twelve days surrounded by the same people 24/7 seemed a bit scary, but it turned out to be better than I ever would have imagined. These girls are so talented and kind, having the opportunity to get to know them was such a gift.
Our trip included London, Paris, Florence, Assisi, Rome, Sorrento and Capri. It was jam packed with guided tours, delicious food and so many fun little moments. Claudio was our amazing tour coordinator, he went above in beyond in every way and we’re hoping that he’ll make a trip to the USA so that we can show him around!
Sharing all of photos from the trip at one time would be a little overwhelming so for today you’ll just get a little glimpse into London! To start off here is our amazing group (minus Rachel) the photo was actually taken in Rome, but it’s one of the few that I’m in so it’ll have to work!
We took an overnight flight and got to London around 11:00 am. We started the day with a walking tour led by Claudio and then a relatively early night in. It was a great start to the trip and the next day we had a guided coach tour followed by a trip to Windsor Castle!
Our guide, Sara, knew the best places for a good view. She walked us through the parks leading up to Buckingham palace and we arrived just in time for the changing of the guards.
Off to Windsor Castle we went!
Windsor is so rich with history and such a beautiful place to visit. We roamed around the palace, walked through the chapel and loved every minute of it! Next up Paris!
These are GORGEOUS!! Love all of them, Anna!!
Looks like you had a great time, Anna!
