Over the past few years I’ve had the honor of photographing a group of girls that I graduated high school with. It’s always such a sweet time in everyone’s life and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to document the beginning of their marriages. We’ve all grown and changed and it’s amazing to see the people that we’re becoming. I realized the other day that our ten year high school reunion isn’t that far away, talk about wild.
As the girls were finishing up getting ready I couldn’t help but notice how great they all look with red lipstick on. It’s a skill they’re mastered from Sarah’s mom and one that I need to learn! Sarah wore her mothers wedding gown that her grandmother made and it’s heirlooms like this that have so much meaning. Can you imagine her grandmother sewing it so many years ago? I bet she had no idea that her granddaughter would wear it one day!
We met up with Nick at the Old Brunswick Courthouse before their ceremony. Let me tell you a little about this guy, he’s kind, gracious and whenever Sarah is anywhere near him she has the biggest smile on her face. Once you see their portraits you’ll get what I’m talking about! I’ve loved having the opportunity to reconnect with them over the past year and I am so excited for everything that is ahead of them. Sarah and Nick thank you so much for including us in your wedding!
Love the photo on the left that Anna captured…
